Hi Friends,

Our journey to create Video Verses began around our family dinner table, where we would sometimes share our favorite scripture verses and discussing how God's Word had touched our hearts that day. As parents, my wife Rachel and I watched with joy as our daughter Ava would eagerly flip through her children's Bible, finding verses that spoke to her young heart. "Daddy, I want to tell my Sunday school friends about this verse!" Ava would say, her eyes lighting up with the pure excitement that only a child can have when discovering God's truth.

Rachel brought this up during our weekly small group Bible study with fellow believers from our church. As a family, we had been praying about how we could use the gifts God had given us—my background in software development and Rachel's heart for ministry—to serve the body of Christ in a meaningful way.

"What if we could create a simple way for Christians everywhere to share the verses that are ministering to them?" Rachel suggested one evening after prayer. "Something that could help believers encourage one another with God's Word, just like we do around our table?"

As a software developer with years of experience building applications, I recognized this as more than just a technical challenge—it was a calling to use technology to strengthen fellowship among believers. Rachel became our ministry heart, providing wisdom like: "It's not just about sharing verses—it's about creating connections where Christians can pray for each other and grow together in faith."

What started as a desire to help Ava share her favorite Bible verses with friends has grown into Video Verses, a platform where Christian families and individuals can encourage one another with scripture, prayer requests, and testimonies of God's faithfulness. Our family not only deepened our own daily walk with the Lord, but helped create something that's now blessing believers in churches, home groups, and Christian communities around the world.

We want to make the beauty of God's Word accessible to every Christian who desires to grow in faith and fellowship. We've witnessed firsthand how the right tools can help believers stay connected to scripture and to each other, allowing busy families to maintain their spiritual foundations while building meaningful relationships across church communities.
